Guatemala is one of my favorite countries to visit in Centra America because of her extraordinary landscapes (volcanoes, rainforests) and rich civilization-spanning culture that reaches back centuries. On of our visits to Antigua, Guatemala, I discovered a group of Guatemalan female artists whose craftsmanship astounded me. Using the Mayan backstrap loom, they are creating colorful one of kind scarves that are the perfect accessory for your ensembles.
